We are in the midst of a major lifestyle change, leaving
our home of 31 years and becoming full-time RV’ers. We consider ourselves
extremely fortunate to have a high-quality facility such as Gravel Ponds so
close by, enabling us to spend our summers in our home area with family and
friends. Over the years we have visited many campgrounds and RV Parks, and we
find Gravel Ponds second to none. From the peaceful serene setting to the
friendly courteous employees, and the safety and security of a gated community,
we could not find a better place to relax and enjoy life. The employees do not
just perform a “job” – they seem to genuinely enjoy helping and assisting in all
matters when called upon – and many times offer assistance without being asked.
Management is always accessible, ready and willing to assist, without being
intrusive. Gravel Ponds members are more than just “members” – they form a
community of caring people who watch out for each other. We are happy and proud
to be a part of this Gravel Ponds community, and look forward to spending many
happy years here. We feel that the Gravel Ponds motto should be:
“If you don’t
know Gravel Ponds, then you don’t know JACK”

We chose Gravel Ponds because it fit our retirement lifestyle.
The cost is reasonable. The people are friendly. The bathrooms &
laundry room are always clean. The employees (& owners) are very giving &

"The rolling country setting of Gravel Ponds is just far enough
away from the big city, yet conveniently close to local interstate highways.
Camping at Gravel Ponds is all about choices. You can join in the well
organized weekly social events or enjoy the seclusion of your own campsite.
We do not take the well cared for grounds or the bathhouses' cleanliness for
granted as we travel nationwide and see many less desirable facilities in many
